How to Register (Show ID)
A person must register to receive voting information.
Only members who signed up by Sunday, October 18 at 5pm are allowed to register to vote.
Due to ongoing restrictions for large in-person gatherings, the voting for the nomination contest will be conducted electronically. This also means that proof of identity and address must be submitted electronically as well.
IDENTIFICATION OPTIONS
Option 1:
ONE government issued ID with your photo, name and current address. (examples: driver's license, Ontario photo card)
Option 2:
TWO pieces of ID
SUBMITTING OPTIONS

ONE government issued ID with your photo, name and current address. (examples: driver's license, Ontario photo card)
Option 2:
TWO pieces of ID
- one issued by a widely recognized major institution (governments, financial institutions, or education institutions) showing your name (examples: birth certificate, passport, health card, band membership card, student card, credit card); AND
- one issued by a widely recognized major institution showing your name and your current address (e.g. bank or credit card statement, utility bill, tax assessment)
- STUDENTS -- Students may use 1) a school ID AND 2) a report card with their address on it.
SUBMITTING OPTIONS
- EMAIL: Send a photo of your ID to [email protected] (You may use your photo app to black out any sensitive information before sending.) This email MUST be sent from the email that you used when signing up with the party.
- WHATSAPP: Send a photo of your ID to 437-237-3598. WhatsApp messages must be sent from a phone number registered to your membership record, or the membership record of another person in your household.
- ZOOM CALL: If you prefer not to send your ID over the internet, you may set up a Zoom video call with the Ontario Liberal Party. Please email [email protected] asking for a scheduled call to show your ID card. The call takes no longer than 5 minutes.
