I am pleased to support Ted Hsu as the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for MPP in Kingston and the Islands.
Ted and I have worked together on a couple of projects, including my biotech and women’s health startup, SYNG Pharmaceuticals. For several years he has closely followed the challenges a local company faces searching globally for partners and investors to commercialize a technology that could non-invasively diagnose and treat endometriosis. He has even volunteered to help with communications.
When Ontario must recover from the social and economic damage from COVID-19, I am glad to support someone interested in opportunities for our province to grow. With interests in better Healthcare and Education, I see Ted as a champion for our community.
Ted also has the experience of growing up in an immigrant family, retaining ties to the culture he has inherited, making the most opportunities Canada offers and then being willing to enter public service.
